Natl conference of librarians from today

As part of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr S R Ranganathan, a national conference on 'Social responsibilities of libraries and librarians in the internet society: Challenges and issues' will be organised by the Karnataka State Library Association at Mahothsava hall at Dharmasthala on December 15 and 16.

Association president Dr P Y Rajendra Kumar told reporters here on Thursday that the national conference will be inaugurated by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade while Karnataka University (Dharwad) retired professor Dr C R Karisiddappa would deliver the keynote address.

The valedictory address will be delivered by SDME Society Secretary Dr B Yashovarma.
