NRN to be chief guest at MAHE silver jubilee today

Having been granted the deemed to be university status in 1993, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal completes a quarter century and will celebrate its silver jubilee. The inaugural function of the celebrations will be held on January 19 at Fortune Inn Valley View.

Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy will be the chief guest for the function.

While a number of events have been planned during the year, the highlights of the inaugural function will be the digital release of the silver jubilee logo and felicitation of all previous vice chancellors: Dr M S Valiathan, Dr B M Hegde, Dr H S Ballal, Dr Raj Warrier, Dr K Ramnarayan and the
present VC, Dr H Vinod Bhat.

Dr Valiathan, National Research Professor will speak after the felicitation ceremony followed by an interaction with Infosys founder Narayana Murthy.
