Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday appealed to the Indo-Pak leadership not to turn the Valley into a battleground and instead develop cordial relations with each other.
"There is a bloodbath going on at the Line of Control and International Border in Jammu and Kashmir," Mehbooba said while speaking at the passing out parade of police constables in north Kashmir's Baramulla.
"The country is moving on the path of development, but the opposite is happening in the Valley. I want to appeal Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan to not to make Jammu and Kashmir a battleground but to create a friendly relation with each other," she said.
