To create awareness among voters, the Election Commission has decided to use millennial voters as ambassadors under Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP).

The commission has asked the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to provide a list of such millennial voters (born after January 1, 2000). Those born before March 2000 will get a chance to vote as the elections are likely to be held in April-May.

The poll panel would issue special millennial voter cards such voters, sources in the Election Commission said.

It has also asked for a similar list of voters from districts and taluks across the state. The last date for registering names on electoral rolls is February 28.
