It is a clear message by the Uttar Pradesh police to those who dare expose them for their wrongdoing.

The man, who had made a video of the recent incident reflecting police apathy in state's Saharanpur town - when two minors, who had met with an accident, bled to death allegedly after the cops refused to carry them to the hospital in their vehicle saying that it would become dirty- and posted it on the social media, has now become the police's target.

The man, identified as Javed, who runs a betel shop and a bike repairing workshop, was allegedly being ''harassed'' by the local police since the incindent, which triggered a nationwide outrage and resulted in   suspension of three police personnel.

The police have forced him to close the shop accusing him of selling liquor. A bike that belonged to him was also seized by them.

''Video banaya hai to parinam bhi bhugatna padega'' (you will have to face the consequences of making the video), one of the cops from the local Janakpuri police station told Javed.

Javed now rues the moment, when he made the video and posted it on the social networking sites. ''I was summonned to the police station several times since the incident...I was made to sit there for hours together,'' he claimed.

The police however denied the allegations. ''There were complaints that he sold liquor and hookah and hence the raids....the bike was seized for lack of papers,'' said a senior police official in Saharanpur.

Two minors had met with an accident in Kotwali area in the town, a police vehicle reached the spot a little later but the police, after seeing the bloodied youths, refused to transport them in their vehicle.

''Where will we sit?....the vehicle will be dirty,'' they said and sped away leaving the minors to die.

By the time the locals arranged a private vehicle and took them to the hospital, the two had already died owing to excessive bleeding.
