KPCC working president Dinesh Gundu Rao on Friday termed BJP national president Amit Shah as 'coward' while accusing him of misusing Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate to target the Congress leaders.
"Amit Shah is a coward. He has been targeting the Congress leaders by misusing I-T Department and Enforcement Directorate. The BJP at the Centre is stooping to a low. Its political adversaries are being harassed," he told reporters. He also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of indulging in politics of revenge.

Rao's statement against Shah drew sharp criticism from state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa. "I strongly condemn Gundu Rao's statement. He (Rao) has proved that he is an incapable leader. The state had never come across such a foolish leader," he stated in a press release.
The I-T Department is an independent agency. It is discharging its duties as per the law, he claimed.
