Senior divisional commercial manager N S Sridhar Murthy said on Wednesday that all arrangements had been made to ensure that devotees coming from North India and other places for Mahamastakabhisheka were provided all facilities during their stay here.
Murthy and his team reached Shravanabelagola in a train and inspected the control room at the railway station, reception, canteen, waiting rooms, guest houses for the officials, parking lot and others.
A huge hall has been built to accommodate more than 2,000 visitors at the railway station. A parking lot has been created for around 2,000 vehicles near the railway station. Already four special trains are being run and four more express trains will be extended from Bengaluru to Shravanabelagola, he said.
