'Bitcoin deal behind brawl'

Financial transactions worth crores of rupees relating to bitcoin, hawala and other illegal activities led to pub brawl involving MLA N A Haris' son Mohammed Nalapad Haris and Vidwat, according to state JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy.

Speaking to media persons at Hubballi Airport before addressing a public rally on Tuesday, Kumaraswamy said that both the state government and the BJP were attempting to hush up the real reason behind the fight and it was being presented as a quarrel over a fractured leg. He demanded that the state government handover the case to cyber crime branch to bring the truth out.
