Kattattila Makham uroos from tomorrow

Kattattila Makham Uroos will be held in commemoration of Asayyid Valiyullahi Ta-ala at Kattattila Juma Masjid in Salettur village in the leadership of Khazi Fazal Koyamma Tanjal and under the guidance of Mudarris Ibrahim Faizi Pulikkuru Ustad from February 23 to March 4.

Addressing reporters here on Wednesday, Masjid secretary K M Mohiyuddin Madani said that various scholars from Karnataka and Kerala will deliver religious discourses on all the days of the uroos from 9 pm onwards.

The flag-hoisting and Kootu Ziyarat will be held on February 23 at 4 pm. Souharda Sangama will be held on February 25. District in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai and Food and Civil Supplies Minister U T Khader and others will be the chief guests. Suryeshwara Temple, Bakrabailu priest Tirumaleshwar Bhat Medu, Nityadhar Church priest Fr M Henry D'Souza and others will take part.

The valedictory of the uroos will be held on March 4 at 12 noon.

Kattattila Juma Masjid president K P Abdul Khader, vice president Moosa, Makham Sharrif Masjid general secretary P Ibrahim Natekal and Mudarris Jama-at committee Kattattila honourary president Ibrahim Faizi Pulikkodu were present at the press meet.
