Devotees from across the country have been visiting Shravanabelagola to be a part of Mahamastakabhisheka. On Thursday, around 1,100 devotees from Chhattisgarh arrived to the Jain pilgrimage shrine by a special train.
Jain seer Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swami welcomed the devotees at the railway station.
The Mahotsava committee has made arrangements for the devotees for accommodation and darshan.
The pilgrims from Chhattisgarh were welcomed with traditional music and Pancharangi Dharmadwaja. The enthused devotees chanted "Bahubali ki jai and Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji ki jai".
KSRTC provided free bus service for the devotees from the railway station and around 15 buses carried them to Kalasanagar, where they were accommodated.
