Search on for new Upalokayukta

The state government has begun the process to search the new Upalokayukta as the term of the incumbent Justice Subhash B Adi ends on Saturday, reports DHNS from Bengaluru.

Sources in the government said the names of retired high court judges, Justice Ashok B Hinchigeri and Justice Anand Byrareddy, are being considered for the post. When contacted, Justices Hinchigeri and Byrareddy said nobody has contacted them in that regard.
