Rohini, 11 other IAS officers transferred

The state government on Wednesday finally succeeded in transferring Hassan deputy commissioner Rohini Sindhuri Dasari. She is now posted as Commissioner, Department of Employment and Training.

A previous attempt to shift her was stalled by the Election Commission of India.

Sources in the Chief Minister's office said the transfers have been effected after obtaining clearance from the Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka.

Eleven other IAS officers who have been transferred and their new postings are as follows: Randeep D, Hassan DC; Cauvery B B, Chamarajnagar DC; Shettennavar S B, Vijayapura DC; Sivakumar K B, Mysuru DC; Ramu B, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences commissioner; K Rajendra, Ramanagaram DC; Mamatha B R, Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited managing director; N Shivashankar, Youth Empowerment and Sports commissioner; Arundhathi Chandrashekar, Food and Civil Supplies commissioner; R Lata, Bengaluru Rural Zilla Panchayat CEO, Dayananda K, Bengaluru Urban DC.
