Accenture is named No 1 IT service provider by Everest Group

Accenture, a leading global IT services company, on Friday  has been named the IT Service Provider of the Year by Everest Group.

The assessment is based on consistent top performers across IT services PEAK Matrix assessments. This is the second consecutive year that Accenture has been listed in the 1st position.

The awards help to identify the best of the best service providers with strong broad-based capabilities and successful strategies services that align well with the evolving enterprise IT demand.

Commenting on the development, Accenture Technology Services Group Chief Executive  Bhaskar Ghosh said the company's  innovation-led approach to application services helps companies reinvent their application portfolio.

"We help companies make use of emerging technology and build with speed to keep pace with business, now and in the future.  We see this recognition from Everest Group as validation of our continued focus on intelligent automation, data and analytics, modern engineering approaches and organizational change as keystones for a digital transformation," he said.

Accenture, a Fortune Global 500 company headquartered in Ireland, reported net revenues of $34.9 billion in 2017.
