AICC Secretary P C Vishnunath said that AICC President Rahul Gandhi will visit Chikkamagaluru on March 21.
Chairing a preparatory meeting, he said that Gandhi will visit Sringeri temple in the morning. After having the darshan of the presiding deity, he will seek the blessing of the seer. Later, he will inaugurate the office of Block Congress.
From Sringeri, he will leave for Aldoor via helicopter. Janashirvada Yatre will commence from Aldoor to Chikkamagaluru. A convention will be held at Nethaji Subhashchandra Bose stadium in Chikkamagaluru at 12.30 pm. Later, he will leave for Hassan via Belur.
He appealed the party workers to gather in a large number during the convention.
