Civic issues evolved to the next level: Malleswaram MLA

The nature of civic issues in his constituency is advancing and he is gearing up to address them, Malleswaram MLA C N Ashwath Narayan told the Janaspandana, organised by Deccan Herald and Prajavani.  

"People used to knock our doors asking for water supply or electricity or drain works. As we have addressed these issues successfully, the kinds of problems have evolved to the next level," he said.

Commercialisation of residential areas, fixing parking lots and street hawkers are the 'next level' of issues the constituency is facing, he said.

"The BWSSB has undertaken a major project to take into account all the unaccounted water supply to the residential houses. This is absolutely tamper-proof and we can hold the person accountable if he is trying to take two connections from the same pipeline," he said.

He assured residents that the BWSSB will soon restore the roads. The constituency will have an additional 435 CCTV cameras, besides the existing 200 to eliminate garbage black spots and offer security to women, children and senior citizens.
