Five selected for Eminent Aloysian Alumni Award

St Aloysius College Alumni Association, Mangaluru, will confer Eminent Aloysian Alumni Awards on five achievers and alumni of the college on March 25.

The awardees are Karnataka Bank Non-Executive Chairman P Jayaram Bhat, Diya Systems CEO Dr V Ravichandran, Pilikula Regional Science Centre Director Dr K V Rao, Chief Traffic Warden Joseph Gonsalves and entrepreneur Jeevan Saldanha.

The award function will be held at Fr L R Rasquinha Hall, LRCI Block at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, on March 25 at 5.30 pm.

P Jayaram Bhat obtained his MSc degree from University of Mysore. He was the MD of Karnataka Bank earlier and is now its non-executive chairman.

Dr V Ravichandran is a Fulbright scholar and a PhD holder. He is also the founder CEO of Diya Systems.

Dr K V Rao has a teaching experience of three decades at St Aloysius College. Currently, he is the director of Pilikula Regional Science Centre.

Joseph Gonsalves (Joe Gonsalves), a nonagenarian who is now working as the chief traffic warden of Mangaluru, has working experience with various companies across the globe.

Jeevan Saldanha is a sports enthusiast and an entrepreneur. He is the former president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
