“We keep getting certain information. We quizzed him for nearly one and hours to verify the information we got,” Deputy Inspector, General Criminal Investigation Department told Deccan Herald. Halappa was cooperative and answered all questions, he added.
The police are likely to send the blood sample for a DNA test some time next week. The interrogation was also conducted as part of a routine inquiry, Reddy added. The police also recorded his answers and are verifying them, he stated.
