Madonna's daughter starts fashion blog

She helped Madonna create the new clothing line, The Material Girl Collection, and now Lourdes has taken to the internet to promote it, saying the clothes will reflect some of her personal taste, Contactmusic reported.

"I'm just going to use this blog entry to tell you all a little bit about myself. I am totally obsessive about 80's shorts. It's kinda nerdy but I love it. The 80's are another huge obsession of mine, which is totally amazingly awesome because Material Girl is 80's themed, which pretty much rocks," she wrote.

Madonna has previously said their clothing range has been inspired by her daughter's likes and dislikes.

"It is absolutely an extension of her taste. We like to combine a plaid or a flannel with a lace or leather with lace or rhinestones. So we mix and match textures and fabrics and elements that are both masculine and feminine," said the 51-year-old singer.

The collection, which will be launched in August, are for US department store Macy's and start from USD 12.
