With elections around the horizon, government agencies and election commission is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a high turn out in the coming elections.
Contributing towards the same is Pai restaurant from Gokarna, which has urged people to not travel on April 18 and 23 - when polls will be held in the State. A notice has been put out in front of the hotel saying that that no tourists visiting the restaurant on the said dates will be provided food at the hotel. "Kindly stay at your places and vote for a new India, considering the importance of elections."
The notice in Kannada, is aimed at people from Karnataka visiting the coastal tourist town in Uttara Kannada district of the State.
