Mukhtar Ansari's funeral: Chaos erupts as supporters break barricades to enter cemetery ground in UP's Ghazipur

Chaos erupted in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur during the burial rites of gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari after his supporters broke the barricades to enter the cemetery ground, news agency ANI reported on Saturday.

Ansari's body had reached Ghazipur after port-mortem, the report of which confirmed that he had died of cardiac arrest.

Mukhtar Ansari died of cardiac arrest on Thursday night at Banda Medical College and his funeral rites are under way at Mohammadabad in Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh.
