<p class="bodytext">The second volume of 'Sadhaneya Shikhararohana', a Kannada book on former prime minister H D Deve Gowda will be released on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Nirmalanandanatha Swami of Adichuchanagiri Mutt will release the book at a programme organised at Senate Bhavan in Manasagangothri at 4.30 pm. Former vice chancellor of Goa and Mangaluru Universities B Sheik Ali will preside over the programme while Deve Gowda and his wife Chennamma will be present, said former VC of University of Mysore (UoM) and JD(S) leader K S Rangappa, in a press conference, here, on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The 400-page book, authored by professors Pradhana Gurudutt and C Naganna is published by Sapna Book House, Bengaluru. Rangappa said that the book contains details on the achievements of Deve Gowda, during his tenure as the prime minister.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">Books in Hindi & English</p>.<p class="bodytext">Rangappa said that the book 'Sadhaneya Shikhararohana' will be translated into Hindi and English languages and will be released in Delhi in three months.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">Book on Kumaraswamy</p>.<p class="bodytext">He informed that a few writers have come forward to write a book on the achievements of H D Kumaraswamy as the chief minister. Rangappa said, "Kumaraswamy, in his 20-month term as the CM, has done remarkable achievement and thus, the writers have been seeking permission to write a book."</p>.<p class="bodytext">Former mayor R Lingappa, corporators K T Cheluvegowda, S B M Manju, K P Ashwini, and K V Mallesh were present.</p>
