Twenty-three people, including eight foreign tourists, four crew members and a tour guide, have been rescued after a boat capsized off the Lombok Island in Indonesia, an official said Monday.

Two people are still missing, the official told Xinhua. "A search and rescue operation to find out the two tourists continue," he added.

The 13 people rescued Sunday include four tourists from the Netherlands, two from Germany and two from Italy. The nationality of those missing is yet to be determined.

The boat en route from Labuhan in Bali's Banten province to Pulau Komodo on Komodo island hit corals at 1 p.m. Saturday and capsized at 7 p.m.
