PV Sindhu returned without voting

Voters, includingshuttler PV Sindhu, returned home without casting their franchiseat some places in Telangana as EVM malfunctioned in 229 polling booths across the state.

Sindhureturned from the Kokapet polling booth saying that she will be back after a while.

The voting to the 119 Assembly seats in the state saw 10% turnout in the first two hours, said CEO's office.

In many places, voters have complained that their names were removed from the voters' list despite having a valid voters' ID card.
