A person was killed and two others were critically injured after being hit by a train at a railway crossing in south-east Delhi’s Sarita Vihar on Thursday.
One person travelling on a bicycle and two others on a motorcycle risked their lives by trying to cross the railway crossing, despite the fact that the gates had been closed.
“They were hit by a train moving towards Palwal. The impact broke the motorcycle apart and one of the rider died on the spot,” a railway police official said.
Twoinjured are admitted at AIIMS the trauma centre.
