FDCI announces 14 shortlisted models for India Couture Week

Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) selected 14 models, on the basis of poise, elegance and confidence, for the upcoming India Couture Week 2016.

The jury consisted of ace choreographers Anu Ahuja, Aparna Bahl, Asha Kocchar and Vidyun Singh and prestigious names from the fashion fraternity Gaurav Gupta and Manav Gangwani.

38 models participated in the auditons, who were divided in A, B, and C category. The judges boosted the confidence of the models and asked them to relax and enjoy the walk.

"FDCI brings together the finest talent from all over the country whether it's designing,choreography, styling or the world of modelling.

"We are revealing the most beautiful and talented faces, to show case stunning creations by our veteran designers this season. This year, too, the bar is set high as they were judged by an esteemed jury," said Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI.

The India Coutre Week is starting from July 20.
