Four illegal migrants deported to Bangladesh

Four migrants of Bangladesh, living in the national capital illegaly, were caught and deported to their country, police said on Saturday.

Additional Commissioner of Police Ajay Chaudhry said the trespassers — Mohammad Vilayat, 24, Mohammad Sahadat, 11, Salam, 25, and Mustaba, 30 were residing in Amar Colony in southeast Delhi illegally for the last few months.

“All the illegal migrants have been deported to Bangladesh through Foreigner Regional Registration Offices after interrogation,” said Chaudhry. They all belong to Bagerhat of Bangladesh.

“We have started a drive to check the illegal migrants residing in the neighbourhood.”
