The government will give all necessary regulatory clearances at one go to investors ready to run public transport buses on electricity or alternative fuel, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Friday.

Major automobile manufacturers like Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland could also form an operator company on the pattern of London Transport, the minister said while addressing Mobility Summit here.

He also promised to remove regulatory hurdles to give a push to e-vehicles in India.
