Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri along with Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated the extended purple metro line services between Mysore road and Kengeri in Bengaluru on August 29. The metro line will cover 7.5 km. The much-awaited extended metro purple line is expected to benefit 75,000 commuters daily.
