J&K won’t get special status back: Ghulam Nabi

While addressing a public meeting in Baramulla, J andK on September 11, former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the state will not get its special status back.

He also said that the parties claiming to be fighting to restore the special status of J and K are only chasing votes. Azad resigned from the all-party post last week.

Notably, he has been Chief Minister of J-K from 2005 to 2008.In his resignation letter to Sonia Gandhi, he had targeted party leadership, particularly Rahul Gandhi.
