A message that reads 'Pakistan zindabad' posted on Kuvempu University official website that was hacked.

The official website of Kuvempu University has been restored after it was briefly hacked on Monday.

Speaking to DH, university vice-chancellor Jogan Shankar said the authorities concerned noticed around 10 am that the website of the university had been hacked. There was a post on the website which read 'Hacked by Hunter Bajwa, Pakistan zindabad'. 'Security is just a fantasy'. The authorities concerned restored the website www.kuvempu.ac.in 20 minutes. There has been no loss of data. The university has lodged a complaint with the Kote police station in Shivamogga. Cyber crime sleuths are investigating the case.
