Pledge to root out terrorism, develop Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday asserted that his government has taken several measures in the first 100 days of NDA 2.0 to rein in corruption, bring about development and root out terrorism. Inaugurating a slew of projects, the prime minister also said that Jharkhand is the launching pad of big schemes beneficial for the poor and the tribals.
"We pledge to rein in corruption, fight for the rights of Muslim sisters and root out terrorism. Some corrupt people have already been put in their place (jail)," he said.
Today for the development and education of tribal children and youth we are starting a very big project. We are setting up 462 Eklavya model residential schools across the country.

PM Modi to inaugurate multi-modal terminal at Sahibganj
The prime minister will also inaugurate the new building of the Jharkhand Assembly and a multi-modal terminal at Sahibganj. The multi-modal terminal was built by Inland Waterways Authority of India on River Ganga at Sahibganj. It will have a cargo storing capacity of 30 lakh tonne per year, a stockyard and parking and berthing space for two vessels. The terminal will create direct and indirect employment for the local people.
PM Modi will also dedicate 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana' to the nation from Ranchi, Jharkhand.
