JAIPUR, DHNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Rajasthan twice in January, first on Makar Sanranti, on January 14, to lay foundation stone for the HPCL refinery and then on January 22 to launch the National Nutrition Mission, DHNS reports from Jaipur.

For the oil refinery launch, at Pachpadra in Barmer district, he will be accompanied by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan.  
 
According to the agreement, HPCL has a 74% stake in the new firm, while the state government holds a 26% stake, which is called the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited.

The total cost of the project is ₹43,129 crore.
 
During his visit to Jhunjhunu, the prime minister will be expanding the scheme 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' (BBBP) for a pan-India reach, covering all the 640 districts of the country to have a deeper positive impact on child sex ratio.
