A team of electoral officials, led by Returning Officer of Bhadravathi Assembly constituency M Dase Gowda, seized domestic goods, including cookers and hot boxes worth Rs 6 lakh at Baranduru check post in the taluk on Wednesday.
According to Dase Gowda, the officials stopped a mini lorry and checked the goods. When the driver failed to produce documents and provide an appropriate response to their queries, they seized the vehicle along with goods. The enquiry is in progress.
