Teenager stabbed in robbery bid at Ranhola

A teenager sustained critical injuries after being attacked with a knife for resisting a robbery bid in west Delhi’s Ranhola late on Saturday.

Kamal, 19, lives with his family at Najafgarh.

According to police, the incident was reported around 11 pm.

“Kamal had left home in the evening to reach Ranhola for some personal work. In Ranhola, he was waylaid at an isolated place by some miscreants who threatened him of dire consequences and asked him to handover his cash and belongings,” a police official said.

Resisted attack

Kamal resisted the robbery bid after which one of the assailants attacked him with a knife.
He sustained multiple stab wounds and collapsed.

A passerby spotted him in a pool of blood and made a call to the police control room.

He was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical.

A case of attempt to murder and robbery has been registered with Ranhola police station.
