The Satna SP said a new statue of Ambedkar would be installed in Amoda.

In both cases, police have registered cases and probe is on, officials said.

The situation was peaceful in both the districts.

Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution, was born in Mhow town in Madhya Pradesh on April 14, 1891.

The state had witnessed widespread violence on April 2 during the "Bharat bandh" called by Dalit outfits to protest against the recent Supreme Court order on the SC/ST Act.
