The personnel of two police control room vans were at the hospital to attend a call of robbery.

They were chased and nabbed by the PCR van staff, police said on Saturday.
The accused have been identified as Jaipal, 25, and Vishal, 19.

At 2.50 am on Friday, the staff of PCR vans Libra-32 and Libra-96 had received a call regarding a quarrel at Savitri Hospital.

Subsequently, they also received a call regarding robbery at the hospital.
The staff of both the PCR vans rushed to the spot and found six-seven persons receiving first aid.

“The doctor asked the men about the nature of injuries, but they abused without provocation,” said Ranvir Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (Operations).
The men were told to calm down, but they allegedly thrashed the doctor and damaged property of the hospital.

On seeing the police party, they fled in a car -- DL CG 4841 -- and motorcycle -- DL 8S BP 1537.

“The PCR staff intercepted the motorcycle after chasing about a kilometer. The car was intercepted after covering about six to seven kilometers,” Singh added.
