The duo of Davis DSouza and Shashank Bantwal qualified for the National final after emerging top amongst the Audi owners at the seventh leg of the Audi quattro Cup 2015. Audi Bengaluru hosted the Bengaluru leg of the Audi quattro Cup 2015.

The team of Davis DSouza and Shashank Bantwal emerged as the overall winners with 42 points followed by the duo of Vittal Belandor and Sudarshan Raju who scored 35 points. Prabhakar Bothireddy and Ashok Daraknath took home the second runners up trophy with 33 points.

The event was played on the Single Peoria Handicap system to determine the team handicap for the day through six hidden holes.

In the various skills competitions held alongside the main event, Praveen Singhvi won the ‘Straightest Drive’ ON THE LINE while Syed Arif landed at 6.5 feet to win the ‘Closest to the Pin’. Sudarshan Raju took home the ‘Longest Drive’ award with a 310 yard drive.

The Audi quattro Cup, celebrating its Silver Jubilee this season, has become one of the most distinguished amateur golf tournaments around the world bringing together over 85,000 golfers from 54 countries.
The 8th season of the Indian edition will see it travel to 13 other cities and see the participation of over 1500 golfers. Audi Chennai will host the next leg at the Madras Gymkhana Club on February 21.
