CII, French chamber sign accord

“The agreement will strengthen communications and cooperation between the two organisations in the fields of business information, export-import and related statistic information, cooperation of bilateral trade and investment, technology, and other commercial activities,” CII said.

The deal will also promote a mutual exchange of visits by businessmen  and delegations of the two organisations.

The organisations will also advice their respective governments on measures that would be helpful for increasing trade and economic cooperation between businesses of both countries. Likewise, Indian and French investment promotion agencies have signed agreements under which they will provide advisory and ‘hand-holding’ services to businesses investing in each other’s country. It will be available from Invest India, a joint venture of Ficci. Likewise, Invest in France Agency and Ubifrance.
