At the two-day Telangana Rising Summit, Salman Khan Ventures Pvt. Ltd announced plans for a Rs 10,000-crore integrated township and film studio project. Envisioned as a hub for luxury, creativity, and technology, the development will combine hospitality, experiential leisure, sporting infrastructure, and a fully equipped production ecosystem.

The proposed township will include a championship golf course, premium residences, a racecourse, curated nature trails, and high-end leisure amenities. Its centrepiece will be a state-of-the-art film studio complex designed to support large-scale productions, OTT content creation, post-production facilities, and talent development programmes.

Actor-producer Ajay Devgn also unveiled plans to establish an international-standard film studio equipped with advanced animation, VFX, and AI-powered smart studio technologies.

At the summit, Salman Khan Ventures representatives presented detailed conceptual designs highlighting sustainability principles, design philosophy, and phased development timelines. Discussions with government departments focused on land structuring, infrastructure linkages, and regulatory support, underscoring Hyderabad’s strengths as a fast-emerging film and media hub.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy welcomed the projects, calling them milestones for Telangana’s creative and entertainment sectors. “This initiative will generate thousands of jobs and further strengthen Telangana’s position as one of India’s most attractive destinations for filmmaking, entertainment, and luxury tourism,” he said, assuring full government support for approvals, connectivity, and ecosystem development.

He added that the mega township is poised to redefine the intersection of entertainment, hospitality, and urban development in India. With Hyderabad’s rising prominence in cinema, technology, and global events, the project will serve as a strong anchor for the next decade of creative-economy growth.

Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the world is entering a new era where imagination fuels economies, entertainment shapes diplomacy, and creative industries influence global perception. He noted that Indian cinema, music, and digital content have already reached more than 170 countries, with Indian talent driving content industries from Los Angeles to Tokyo.

Highlighting Hyderabad’s growing stature as a global entertainment hub, the minister said the city already hosts world-class film infrastructure such as Ramoji Film City, leading VFX and gaming companies, and a diverse creative workforce.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening this ecosystem through incentive-driven film policy reforms, international production facilitation, AVGC-XR innovation centres, and global industry partnerships. “This is not just a vision—it is an execution-ready roadmap,” he said.

Vantara’s Wildlife Conservatory & Night Safari

In another major announcement, Vantara, a Reliance Group initiative, formalised a partnership with the Telangana government to establish a world-class Wildlife Conservatory and Night Safari.

Designed as a flagship conservation and experiential tourism project, the initiative aims to elevate India’s wildlife rehabilitation standards while offering globally benchmarked visitor experiences. The conservatory will integrate scientific wildlife care, habitat restoration, research, and environmental education through immersive exhibits and guided night-safari trails.

Vantara’s model prioritises ethical animal welfare practices, advanced veterinary care, and long-term conservation research—positioning it as far more than a tourism venture.

At the Bharat Future City venue, the Vantara team showcased its conceptual masterplan, sustainability framework, and ecological impact assessment plan. They stressed that site selection and habitat design would be guided by scientific oversight to ensure minimal ecological disturbance. State departments pledged coordinated facilitation through tourism, forest, and environment portfolios.

Once implemented, the conservatory is expected to boost eco-tourism, enhance conservation awareness, and position Telangana as a national leader in responsible, nature-led development. The project has already generated widespread interest for its potential to become India’s premier model of conservation tourism.
