Exports to look up next fiscal: Exim Bank Chief

Exports are, however, expected to grow by 10 per cent next year in the wake of India signing the Free Trade Agreement with ASEAN countries, Exim Bank Chairman T C Venkat Subramanian said.

The FTA, is expected to increase exports and imports with ASEAN countries to $50 billion in the first year itself, he said. India at present exports 30 per cent of its total exports to Asian countries, up by two percentage points from the beginning of this millennium.
