FIIs invest Rs 2,600 cr in September

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) invested nearly Rs 2,600 crore in Indian capital markets during the first week of September.

The net inflows during the week came after a net withdrawal of nearly Rs 16,000 crore in August.

During the week, inflows were about Rs 1,689 crore in the debt market and Rs 882 crore in the equities translating into a net inflows of Rs 2,571 crore, according to the latest data available with market regulator Sebi.
