Fortis Healthcare Limited, on Friday, announced the consolidated results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010. For the quarter, the company’s operating revenue grew by 91 per cent at Rs 329 crore over the same quarter last year. Consolidated profit after tax at Rs 27 crore grew by 419 per cent from Rs 4.8 cr in the corresponding quarter last year.
In the financial year 2009-10 the company’s operating revenue stood at Rs 937.90 crore, up 49 per cent and the consolidated PAT at Rs 69.50 crore. was up 234 per cent as against a profit of Rs 20.80 crore in the previous financial year.
