GoAir on Thursday announced a non-stop daily flight between Mumbai and Leh, the first such service on the route.
The services will start from April 13. GoAir will become the first airline to offer non-stop daily flights connecting Mumbai-Leh, the airline said in a statement. The airline will also further strengthen its domestic network in the Summer Schedule 2016 with the addition of frequencies on the Mumbai-Patna and Mumbai-Lucknow routes from April 17 to cater the holiday rush.
GoAir CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said the schedules have been planned to allow quick and convenient connections for customers. “We hope both holiday and business travelers would find the new flights attractive,” he said.
As per its latest Summer Schedule 2016, the GoAir flight G8-386 will take off from Mumbai at 4 am and arrive in Leh at 6:40 am while the return flights will take off from Leh at 7:10 am and arrive at Mumbai at 11:25 am via Srinagar.
