The Global Entrepreneur Initiative will aid young entrepreneurs, start ups and any venture started inside three years, IBM said. Briefing reporters, IBM ISV General Manager James M Corgel said the company has opened up its expertise and technology for young entrepreneurs to leverage their business in a cost effective way.
The company would provide start ups their technology tools, either for free or for a small cost, which would allow them to either scale up their solution to meet the market expectations or to make it part of a wider suite of solutions. Young entrepreneurs can also tap into the vast pool of R&D and consultancy expertise inside IBM in order to connect their solutions to the market expectations.
