Thee JIFCO is a joint venture between Iffco and the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) which will strengthen procurement of phosphoric acid for Iffco’s phosphatic fertilizer producing plants, a press release issued here on Sunday said.
In this strategic partnership, JPMC will be supplying around 2 metri tonne of rock phosphate to the project from the nearby mines and Iffco will be getting consistent supply of phosphoric acid to meet its requirement in India.
In order to meet the growing demand of fertilizers, Iffco has also established joint ventures in Senegal, Oman and Australia for sourcing of of raw material.
