Infy, law firm begin mediation with stakeholders

Infosys, the second-largest IT services company, has reportedly started mediations with its founders over allegations of corporate misgovernance, including high compensation to top executives.

According to sources familiar with the development, Cyril Suresh Shroff, the managing partner of law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, is heading discussions with the founders. Infosys appointed law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for mediation talks between various shareholders in February.

When approached by DH, the company didn’t share any information. As part of its fact finding, the law firm has asked the board of directors about its composition and governance policies. Besides meeting Infosys’ institutional investors, it is looking at the infomation that can be shared with founders.
