Intel India, on Tuesday, said it will focus on accelerating desktop growth by enabling more channel partners to adopt its new computing innovation tool All-in-One (AIO).
“With the increased market interest and growth in the AIO segment over the past few years, we feel there is a real opportunity to enable the smaller system integrators with this form factor,” Intel South Asia Sales Director (West) Suryanarayan B said.
According to a forecast by IDC, AIO desktops are gaining traction in the desktop market, mostly driven by the consumer segment, where their share is expected to grow steadily and hit 33 per cent by 2015. In the domestic market, AIO shipments have already been growing steadily for the last five quarters with an average of 50,000 shipments per quarter.
