IOC's turnover from petrochem biz to touch Rs 15k cr next fisc

IOC Chairman B M Bansal said the company clocked a turnover of Rs 3,000 crore from petrochemical business in 2009-10 and this year it is expected to rise to Rs 6,000 crore.

"Next fiscal, we hope to run our Naphtha Cracker Plant, Panipat, in full stream that will see our turnover rising to Rs 15,000 crore," he said launching its petrochemical brand, Propel.

Bansal added that IOC hope to capture 20 per cent market share of the petrochemical business in India from the current about 5 per cent.
