Lend helping hand, State tells industry

Addressing a conference on Opportunities in Industrial Corridor Infrastructure in Karnataka, under the aegis of Confedaration of Indian Industries (CII), Infrastructure Development Department Principal Secretary V Madhu said the required annual investment in the State is Rs 25,000 crore as against current annual investment of Rs 11,000 crore.

He mentioned that Karnataka’s Infrastructure Development Plan has been developed to support the State’s Vision 2020 document. The Department is working on developing feasibility reports for 112 priority projects, of which the data sheets for 35 projects will be made public shortly, he added.
