The Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model for airports has led to a “significant improvement” in infrastructure and in collection of revenues, the Economic Survey 2014-15 said on Friday.

This was highlighted as one of the “significant achievements” of the civil aviation sector. The Survey noted that there has been “healthy increase” in international passengers and cargo handled at Indian airports this fiscal.
